ABOUT US

Congrats to Fog City! 2006 North American Senior Champs
& 2007 Junior Champs!

The Fog City Harps Ladies’ Gaelic Football Club was founded in San Francisco in February of 1994. With over 50 members, we are the largest Ladies’ football club in San Francisco and are the only club to have both senior and junior teams. We are also the only club to have an official team songbook!

Fostering our club's growth and expansion is of utmost importance to all of our members. New Players are always welcome regardless of experience. We enjoy them particularly for their enthusiasm and their participation in maintaining the club's fresh and vibrant atmosphere.

After years of hard work and dedication, Fog City Harps were crowned the North American Champions in 2001, 2005 and 2006, an achievement sought after since the clubs inception in 1994. To date the club has captured the Western Divisional Senior Ladies’ Championship in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2006 and represented San Francisco in the North American Championships at this level every year 1996 through 2007. In addition, our juniors have won the Western Divisional Junior Ladies’ Championship in 1998, 2001, 2005 and 2007.

Our goal for 2008 is to retain the North American Junior Championship.

New players are always welcome!!
